The Eagle's Nest started out as a devotional column in a local small-town newspaper many years ago. I had so much fun writing these back then but, like most of us, I got busy and totally forgot about it when the newspaper quit operating. I was looking through some old emails and ran across a couple of articles that I wrote and thought it would be fun to start producing these again.
The eagle is a creation of God. It is the most majestic of all birds and is mentioned many times in the Bible. In fact, the eagle is mentioned 38 times, much more than the dove or other birds. The nest is so large that a human can sleep in it. It can weigh over 1500 pounds. The nest is designed to be a place of comfort, and of learning. The nest becomes a launchpad from which the Eaglet will learn to spread it's wings and soar to new heights! My hope is that these short devotionals will help YOU do just that!!
If you have an internet or Facebook page or even a newsletter for your business, church, or community I invite you to use these articles as you wish. I respectfully request that you include a byline showing who wrote it and where it came from. I would also welcome critic, comments, and also feedback on how these devotions helped you or your community.
